Quality Policy

 

The Quality Management System implemented by Newcom Industries complies with the requirements of QS 9000 Third Edition 1998, ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 9001-2000.

Newcom Industries was Certified to ISO 9002-1994 in March 1998, and certified to QS 9000 Third Edition 1998, ISO/TS 16949 in December 2000.

QS 9000 and ISO/TS 16949 is recognised internationally and adopted by virtually all automotive companies as the industry standard. Certification is only awarded to companies committed to producing a quality product. Another benefit to customers is that the quality system ensures that costs are continuously reduced through production efficiencies.

Our Quality Management system enables us to:

have full material and production Traceability on every spring produced
have Process Capability Studies carried out on any revised processes
have a Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA) system in place
have a statistical process control (SPC) system in place
have a Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) system in place

Newcom Industries is also an active member of the Wire Association of Australia.
